So much to be thankful for...


After more than a year of waiting, God has answered our prayers - the roof is on the second building. We had perfect weather today. After all of the workers leave I am going to go out there and dance and PRAISE HIM!



JaidenIlo had tubes placed in her ears this morning. We had to be at the hospital at 6:45 - surgery was at 7:45 and we were home by 8:30 - we both went to bed and she woke up almost her totally happy self! She cried a lot when the anesthesia was wearing off - once we got home though she was fine. She kept saying, "Owie" - but I think that was from having her staples removed than from the actual surgery. She is napping right now - she hasn't taken an afternoon nap in weeks!

So happy to hear the much-awaited roof is complete. And, especially, that the surgery went well. Had both my boys under anesthesia this year... their surgeries went great but the anesthesia and waiting was stressful. Been thinking of you. Hope you can call and talk sometime... better yet if you want to stop by! I'm here everyday with our group of 5 (open 7:30-5:00), and you (and any and all kids) are welcome any time.
